Gathering Ripley residents together to foster strong family bonds, support youth entrepreneurs, and highlight local small businesses. These seasonal events feature games, food, small business booths, and activities that connect generations.
A look back at some of the ways we've come together to support, uplift, and celebrate our community in Ripley.
Working to make prom unforgettable for local youth. Heartfelt thanks to our generous volunteers who provided haircuts, makeup, hair styling, and teeth whitening to help our winners shine.
Launched our Elderly Lawn Care Assistance Program to serve local seniors. High school volunteer Aiden Rucker earned community service hours while helping tidy and mow the yard of Ms. Sandra Cervantes.
Helped Ripley kids kick off the school year with supplies and confidence. Distributed school supply packs including notebooks, folders, pencils, crayons, and pencil pouches, along with two $25 gift cards.
Hosted an evening of hope and solidarity in the fight against breast cancer. Featured breast cancer awareness messages, survivor certificates, healthcare resources, line dancing, and custom decorations.
Partnered with local youth to bring holiday cheer to nursing home residents. Gathered and hand-delivered warm blankets, cozy socks, shirts, personal care items, and coloring books to all 46 residents.
Held a bubbly car wash fundraiser, raising over $1,000. All proceeds were shared to support the Ripley High School Boys Basketball Team and the Cam Cares Foundation's programs.
Expanded our annual back-to-school drive, helping dozens of local students prepare for the school year. Partnered with local Methodist churches to distribute vital learning materials and backpacks.
Held our second annual breast cancer awareness evening. A sea of pink, filled with smiles, line dancing, and survivor tributes to celebrate resilience and honor lost loved ones.
Organized our Thanksgiving Food Giveaway, distributing grocery packages to families. Neighbours supported neighbours to ensure everyone enjoyed a warm, healthy Thanksgiving meal.
Delighted residents at Diversicare nursing home with holiday cheer and carols. Delivered "Bundles of Joy" comfort packages filled with blankets, pajamas, lotions, body wash, socks, and books.
Celebrated two beautiful Ripley High School queens, giving them a full, free pampering experience to step into prom feeling radiant, supported, and celebrated.
